Our 2017 Annual Weavers Guild of Cincinnati Members Retreat will be held at the Transfiguation Spirituality Center in a tranquil wooded setting in Glendale, Ohio, starting on Tuesday, November 14 and ending on Thursday, November 16. Come for one night, two nights, or just for the day (or both days) – whatever fits your schedule.
Enjoy an unstructured block of time to work on your latest project, surrounded by Guild members who share the same passion for fiber arts that you do. Bring a new project, finish an old one, be inspired, collaborate, take walks, or just relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
We will have a large meeting room with good lighting and tables to work on. Our rooms will be just down the hall, each with a private bathroom.
Meals are included. Breakfast will be from 7am to 9am with things like toast, coffee cake, yogurt, fruit, juice, and coffee. Lunch will be served at 12:30 pm and may be soup and salad, sandwiches, or salad bar. Dinner will be served at 6:00pm and include a meat, a starch, veggies, and dessert. Vegetarian meals are available, just be sure to let us know beforehand. We can bring snacks, wine, or other drinks as we have before. Coffee and tea will be available during the day. Bring your own soft drinks.

Organized by
The Weavers Guild of Greater Cincinnati, Inc. was created in 1948 as a non-profit educational organization to promote interest in handweaving. Today, the Guild offers education in a wide range of fiber processes and techniques, including weaving, felting, spinning, basketry, knitting, and dyeing. Guild members are from the Cincinnati metropolitan area and surrounding communities, as well as from Kentucky and Indiana.
Members range in experience from beginners to professionals. All benefit from the Guild's priorities: education through classes, workshops, programs, study groups; sharing information and fiber techniques with other members and community groups; and promoting and supporting local fiber producers and businesses.
After 50 years of meeting in various churches throughout Greater Cincinnati, the Guild has its own home at 4870 Gray Road in Spring Grove Village.
